How long they last
Session cookies disappear when you close the browser. Persistent cookies last from a few days to a year, depending on the provider that set them.
Managing cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies from its settings or privacy menu. Blocking analytics and affiliate cookies does not stop you reading the site or using any code published here.
