This policy explains what Discount LTD (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit discount.ltd, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email nld3chgsmi99@temupromocode.com.
The short version
You do not need an account to read this site. We do not sell personal data. The data we do handle is the ordinary technical information every web server records, plus anything you choose to send us.
Information we collect
- Server logs. Your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page and the time of the request. Our host records these to keep the site running and to spot abuse.
- Analytics. Aggregated data about which pages are read, how long visits last and which country traffic comes from. This is used to decide what to write next.
- Messages you send. If you email us or submit a comment, we keep the message, your name and your email address so we can reply.
- Comments. WordPress stores the comment text, name, email address, site address and IP address, and may pass a hashed version of your email to the Gravatar service to show an avatar.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We use them to remember your preferences, to measure traffic and, where affiliate links are involved, to credit a referral to this site. Advertising and affiliate partners may set their own cookies when you follow an outbound link. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them, although some preferences will not be remembered.
Third parties
We rely on outside services to run the site, which may process limited data on our behalf: our web host, an analytics provider, an email provider and affiliate networks that track referrals. Each has its own privacy policy, and following a link away from this site means that company’s rules apply to what happens next.
Legal basis and purposes
Where the GDPR applies, we process data on the basis of legitimate interest (running and securing the site, understanding what readers need) and, for non-essential cookies, consent. We keep data only as long as it serves those purposes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask us to confirm what data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how it is used, or send you a copy. Readers in California may ask what categories of personal information were collected and may opt out of any sale of personal information; we do not sell personal information. Data retention
Server logs are kept for a short period by our host. Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so follow-up replies can be recognised automatically. Email correspondence is kept while it is useful for support, and deleted on request.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and access to the admin area is restricted. No site can promise perfect security, so please do not send us sensitive personal or financial information by email.
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the home page for a reasonable period.
